When Sid and I entered the middle school building that year, we had the feeling that our summer adventures were completely over. That was before our principal offered a field trip to any student who met "certain qualifications." We jumped at the chance to get out of school and were instantly caught up in an adventure beyond our wildest imagination.
After accepting a mysterious book from the principal titled, "The Book of the Dead," we were led to a secret passage in the back of my locker. Looking at the challenge of a lifetime, we gathered up the courage, took our first step, and instantly found ourselves wisped away to another place and time.
Now, with the book as our guide, and only three days, we had to solve the mystery of who killed King Tut or never make it back to the middle school again.
